We discuss and finalize the blueprint for the customized project. From that point, all fabric and other quilting materials are assembled, and the work then begins!
Neanie DOES NOT rush and do sloppy work--she takes pride in making sure every step of the quilting process is done as accurately and with as much precision as possible. Her goal is to produce a HIGH QUALITY, HEIRLOOM caliber product that can be practical, durable, and beautiful for years to come!

From Dentist to Quilter: Neanie's Story
January 2009. A huge ice storm hit the northwest Tennessee area, causing major power outages and forcing businesses to temporarily close. Dr. Denean R. " Neanie " Carr, a local dentist, lost power not only at her practice, but at her home as well. She and her family were offered shelter at the home of Mattie Bland, a seamstress and quilter of many decades. Neanie , a highly creative and artsy individual, immediately became intrigued with the quilter's work. She asked Mrs. Bland to teach her to sew. In ten minutes, Neanie learned to use a sewing machine, and her passion for quilting was born!
Fast forward to the present day. Neanie's Quilts , which began as a creative outlet for a bored healthcare professional, has blossomed into a niche company that has attracted buyers from around the world! Why? Neanie is a very positive person who is highly detailed-oriented. Each of her quilt creations is produced with love, precision, and quality materials. From custom made designs to various themes, Neanie's Quilts are indeed heirloom quality showpieces that can be used, enjoyed, and appreciated by all!
